Bo Jackson’s Status Is Downgraded to Doubtful
The Raiders downgraded halfback Bo Jackson from questionable to doubtful Friday, making it almost certain that he will miss Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns at the Coliseum.
Jackson sprained his right ankle last week at Kansas City and hasn’t practiced this week.
Marcus Allen is expected to split time between halfback and fullback.
Jackson is averaging 6.8 yards a carry. With him in the lineup, the Raiders averaged 501 yards and 35.5 points in games against the Seattle Seahawks and the Buffalo Bills. After he left early last week, the Raiders lost to the Chiefs, 16-10.
