Royal Soccer Team Wins Tournament Title

Cameron Rast and Edwin Vela each scored goals as Royal High defeated Clark of Las Vegas, 2-0, in the final of the Simi Valley soccer tournament Wednesday.

“We completely dominated the game, but weren’t able to take complete advantage because they packed their defense,” Royal Coach Peter Schraml said.

Royal limited Clark to six shots on goal.

Agoura defeated West of Bakersfield, 4-1, in the third-place game. In consolation games, Thousand Oaks defeated San Marino, 3-2, and Simi Valley beat Edison of Fresno, 2-0.
