Long Beach Meets Ohio St. in New Mexico Invitational

Cal State Long Beach and Ohio State, two 5-2 basketball teams, meet here tonight in the University of New Mexico Lobo Tournament.

New Mexico plays North Texas State in the second game.

First-year Coach Joe Harrington, who has Long Beach off to its best start in nine years, was a teammate of Gary Williams, the Ohio State coach, at Maryland in the late 1960s.

Long Beach guard Morlon Wiley is averaging 18.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.9 steals.
