Share

The University of San Diego basketball team will play host to an Ivy League school for the first time tonight when Brown visits the USD Sports Center for a 7:30 game.

USD (3-4) has met an Ivy League school only one other time. In the first round of the 1984 NCAA tournament, USD lost to Princeton, 65-56, at Philadelphia.

Tonight’s game begins a four-game home stand for USD, which will also play Missouri-Kansas City, United States International University and Texas-Arlington.

USD, which was impressive in a 76-53 victory over San Diego State almost two weeks ago, is coming off a 71-59 loss to Cal State Fullerton Wednesday.
