Milutinovic Helps USIU Defeat Morgan State
Rade Milutinovic scored 24 points and had 12 rebounds to lead U.S. International University to a 97-85 nonconference victory over Morgan State of Baltimore at Golden Hall Tuesday night.
USIU (6-8) jumped to an 11-0 lead and was in front, 53-37, at halftime. The lead grew to 20 points several times in the second half.
USIU made 31 of 46 free throws.
Troy Brown scored 26 points and James McCoy added 20 for Morgan St. (5-4), which shot only 42.9% from the field.
USIU’s Charles Redding scored 22 points, Goran Petrovic had 18, and Steve Smith added 12.
