Buchheim Resigns as Cal Lutheran SID

Jim Buchheim, sports information director at Cal Lutheran since 1985, has resigned effective Jan. 29.

Buchheim, 24, will join the administrative staff of Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, as an assistant director of admissions.

“I just wanted to get back home,” said Buchheim, who graduated from Wartburg in 1985. “I’ve enjoyed Cal Lutheran. But I think this is a good move.”
