Polk, Uecke Lead Chapman to Victory

Karan Polk and Jennifer Uecke scored 18 points apiece to lead the Chapman College women’s basketball team to an 81-53 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills the California Collegiate Athletic Assn. opener for both teams in Orange Friday.

Polk had eight assists and Uecke grabbed 10 rebounds for Chapman (10-4, 1-0). Dana Dawson added 17 points and Corine Sandfry scored 13 to help the Panthers to their fifth victory in their last six games.
