PCAA Roundup : UCSB Beats San Jose at Finish, 65-64
Mike Boyle’s six-foot baseline jump shot with 19 seconds remaining lifted UC Santa Barbara to a 65-64 victory over San Jose State in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. game Saturday night at San Jose.
Anthony Perry and Gerald Thomas missed shots for San Jose (10-11, 5-7) in the final seconds.
Eric McArthur had 23 points and 17 rebounds for UCSB (17-5, 9-4).
Fresno State 60, Mexico State 50--Jervis Cole scored 15 points, and the Bulldogs downed the Aggies at Fresno.
The Bulldogs (8-13, 5-7) went on a 12-1 surge to open a 29-19 halftime lead.
Willie Joseph had 14 points for the Aggies (14-12, 6-7).
