Winning Grammys does help renew interest in albums long past their peak. U2’s year-old “The Joshua Tree,” which has already sold 4 million copies, is up four places to No. 24 on the Billboard magazine pop album chart. Randy Travis’ “Always and Forever,” a 2-million seller that’s been on the chart 43 weeks, is also on the rise again since he won the best male country vocalist Grammy. AC/DC’s “Blow Up Your Video” (No. 14) and Guns N’ Roses’ “Appetite for Destruction” (No. 17) look Top-10 bound. Morris Day’s “Daydreaming” (No. 50) is a hot newcomer.

* Kingdom Come, heralded as the second coming of Led Zeppelin, is off to a fairy-tale start. Not many new bands have their first album jump on the chart at No. 51. The enormous pre-release buzz had heavy-metal fans clamoring to hear what these guys sounded like.
