Three Golden West College pitchers combined for eight walks and hit two batters to help El Camino to a 9-8 victory over the Rustlers Tuesday in a South Coast Conference baseball game at Golden West.
Four of the walks and one of the hit batters resulted in runs for El Camino (22-10, 8-2).
Golden West led, 5-3, going into the seventh inning when Toby Foreman replaced Golden West starter Tom Thobe. Foreman hit the first batter he faced. After getting a flyout, he walked the next three hitters to force in a run. Foreman went, 1-0, on Colin Franker and was replaced by Ken Hokuf. Franker singled to drive in two to give El Camino a 6-5 lead.
