Cal Poly SLO Blitzes Northridge in Tennis

Kris Anderson was the lone bright spot for the Cal State Northridge tennis team in an 8-1 loss Saturday at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Anderson, playing No. 6 singles, defeated Amy Lansford, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4, for the only Northridge point in the California Collegiate Athletic Assn. match.
Only two other matches went three sets. In No. 1 singles, Allison Kincaid put up a fight before dropping a 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 decision to Vicki Kanter.
In No. 2 doubles, Kanter teamed with Sue Norman to defeat Kincaid and Kaliko Yandall, 4-6, 7-6, 6-0.
