Frank Helps Warriors Score a 113-110 Victory Over the Clippers

OAKLAND — Tellis Frank scored 10 of his career-high 23 points in the final period Saturday night as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Clippers, 113-110, at the Oakland Coliseum Arena.
Warrior center Dave Hoppen finished with 17 points as six Golden State players scored 10 or more.
With the Warriors leading, 105-97, the Clippers went on a 15-2 spurt to take a 108-107 lead on Ken Norman’s 12-foot jumper. But with 31 seconds remaining, Otis Smith scored to give the Warriors the lead for good.
Norman led the Clippers with 34 points, while Michael Cage had 24 points and 21 rebounds.
The teams traded the lead throughout the first half, with Los Angeles taking a 60-54 advantage at halftime.
