Sammy Genie has built a reputation few pitchers want. The right-handed senior from Franklin is one of the area’s hard-luck pitchers, especially after he threw a no-hitter against Wilson but lost, 1-0, Tuesday in a Northern League game at Wilson.

The tough loss is not Genie’s first. As a sophomore, he pitched a one-hitter against Crossroads but lost.

To his credit, Genie has won all four of his two-hitters.

Wilson (10-0, 6-0 in league play) scored in the bottom of the sixth on a walk and two consecutive errors. Genie walked four and struck out seven.
