Ray Luna, veteran Southland boxing trainer, died at his home in Riverside, apparently the victim of a heart attack. He was 63.
Luna, starting in the late 1940s, trained many Southland boxers, including Art Aragon, Carlos Chavez, Keeny Teran and Manuel Ortiz, former world bantamweight champion.
Funeral plans are pending.
