Rancho Bernardo
The decomposing body of a 19-year-old woman was found Sunday near Rancho Bernardo. She had been strangled, a deputy coroner said.
The unidentified woman’s nude body was found in the brush near Black Mountain Road, west of Via del Campo, by a jogger, Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Grubb said.
The woman probably died somewhere else and was dumped there several days later, according to Lt. Bill Baxter.
The woman was described as white, weighing about 110 pounds with shoulder-length brown hair.
