Local News in Brief : Anaheim : Couple in Apparent Murder-Suicide Named

Police on Sunday identified the man who they believe fatally stabbed his young wife, then killed himself in the couple’s Anaheim apartment.

The bodies of Kevin William McClintock, 31, and Belinda Ann McClintock, 24, were found in the bathroom of their apartment about 10 p.m. Friday, police said.

While they could offer no motive for the murder-suicide, officers said they believe that McClintock killed his wife and then himself with the knife. The couple, who had not been seen or heard from since Tuesday evening and reportedly had been arguing that night, had lived at the apartment only a month.

Authorities said the husband was a newspaper deliveryman for the Orange County Register, and the wife worked for a check-cashing firm, although she frequently helped her husband on his delivery rounds at night.
