Ram Jerry Gray Wants to Renegotiate, Is Being Represented by Charles Chin
Charles Chin, fast becoming the agent to Ram stars, has formally announced that he is now representing cornerback Jerry Gray, who desperately wants his contract renegotiated. Gray, named to the Pro Bowl each of the last two seasons, is supposed to make $200,000 this season and $250,000 in 1989. Those numbers, according to Chin, are going to change.
“We’re going to get on this ASAP,” Chin said Tuesday.
Chin, of course, negotiated Eric Dickerson’s way to the Indianapolis Colts last season and also renegotiated a three-year, $1.65-million contract extension for cornerback LeRoy Irvin last July.
Gray is believed to be looking for something in the range of $700,000 per year.
