Reseda 34, Canoga Park 6--Running back William Gaines rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown in 10 carries as the Regents won a season opener at Canoga Park.

Reseda quarterback Coley Kyman completed 6 of 9 first-half passes for 92 yards, including a 27-yard scoring pass to Joe Arnold in the Regents’ 21-point second quarter. Kyman finished with 8 completions and 109 yards in 11 attempts and also rushed for a score.
