Mauro’s Two Goals Boost UCSD to a Soccer Victory at Whittier

Heather Mauro scored two goals Sunday as the UC San Diego women’s soccer team defeated Whittier College, 3-0, at Whittier. Stephanie Savoy added one goal and had two assists.

UCSD held the hosts to no shots on goal. The Tritons (6-0) have recorded five straight shutouts and have outscored their opponents, 24-2, in six games. Whittier is 1-2-1.

The UC San Diego men’s soccer team defeated Cal State Los Angeles, 3-0, at Los Angeles.
