5 Wounded in Drive-By Shooting in Hollywood
Five people suffered minor gunshot wounds when they were fired on by three men in a passing car on Hollywood’s busy Sunset Boulevard in a gang-related shooting, police said Saturday.
The three shooting suspects, who were not immediately identified, were captured late Friday after a brief chase, said Police Sgt. William Davidson of the Hollywood station.
The chase began when “officers heard the gunshots and passers-by pointed out the suspect vehicle to them,” Davidson said. He said the three were arrested for investigation of attempted murder.
The incident occurred at about 11:15 p.m. at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and St. Andrews Place.
