KCBS-TV to Air Live Panel on Local Education Problems
KCBS-TV Channel 2 will clear two hours of prime time tonight for a live panel discussion on the crisis facing public education in California.
Beginning at 8 p.m., “Save Our Schools: An Action News Special Report” will tackle such problems as overcrowded classrooms, insufficiently trained teachers, multilingualism, inadequate teaching materials, drugs and violence.
The format of the show includes taped pieces prepared by KCBS’s news department to introduce each subject, followed by a discussion of the issue by a panel of California educators and policymakers.
