Sean Sutton, son of Kentucky basketball coach...

Sean Sutton, son of Kentucky basketball coach Eddie Sutton and a sophomore on the team, was named in one of 17 new charges of rule violations leveled against the school, according to United Press International.

A summary of the National Collegiate Athletic Assn. allegations released by the university said a member of the basketball staff of the athletics department and two of the university’s student athletes provided false and misleading information to NCAA investigators.

Sources close to the university, who requested anonymity because of the school’s policy against releasing names in the allegations, confirmed one of the students was Sean Sutton.

Sean said he was told not to comment on any of the allegations, but said: “I’m not going to deny it.”
