Glendale 35, Santa Barbara 28--Glendale had a seemingly comfortable fourth-quarter lead, but the Vaqueros were forced to weather a 2-touchdown Santa Barbara rally in the WSC Northern Division game at Glendale High.

Santa Barbara’s freshman quarterback, Ted Robison, led the comeback, first connecting with tight end Chris Harris on a 10-yard pass midway through the fourth quarter to cut the Santa Barbara deficit to 35-21.

Santa Barbara (3-6, 3-5 in conference) recovered the ensuing onside kick and marched 53 yards to set up a 2-yard run by fullback Andre Solomon. Darrick Jones added the PAT to narrow the Glendale lead to 35-28.
