Agoura Eliminated From Tennis Playoffs
Capistrano Valley High, led by senior Michelle Foster and freshman Page Bartelt, crushed Agoura, 14-4, in a semifinal match of the Southern Section 3-A Division girls’ tennis playoffs Thursday at the Westlake Village Racquet Club.
Foster and Bartelt swept all 3 of their singles matches as Capistrano Valley (20-1) advanced to Tuesday’s final against San Marino, a 14-4 winner over Foothill.
Agoura (21-2) was eliminated in the semifinal round of the playoffs for the third consecutive year.
