Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut was chosen by The Athletics Congress as the site for the USA-Mobil Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Juine 1990.

Other bidders were Provo, Utah; Eugene, Ore., and New York. The meet will determine the makeup of the U.S. team for the 1990 Goodwill Games in Seattle.
