Chapman Women Lose in Basketball

Kira Anthofer scored 22 points and had 15 rebounds to lead UC Santa Barbara to a 66-51 victory over Chapman in a nonconference women’s basketball game Sunday at Chapman.

Santa Barbara (2-2) led, 36-19, at halftime.

Julie King scored 17 points and Jennifer Uecke had 11 points and 8 rebounds for Chapman (2-6), which lost its sixth in a row.
