Local News in Brief : Santa Clarita to Mark Its First Anniversary
Santa Clarita will celebrate its first anniversary with an open house at City Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. The open house will include music, tours of city offices and a giant birthday cake.
City Hall is on the third floor of the Valencia Bank Building, 23920 Valencia Blvd. Santa Clarita became Los Angeles County’s 85th city when it incorporated Dec. 15, 1987.
