North Hollywood 58, Hacienda Heights Wilson 26--Sophomore G. G. Sweet led all scorers with a career-high 23 points in the first round of the Garr tournament. Michelle Cabaldon added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for North Hollywood (6-1).
BOYS
Dorsey 74, Kennedy 63--Senior forward Randy Brown had a game-high 32 points in the losing effort as the Golden Cougars lost in the first round of the Malibu tournament. Garrett Anderson and Dana Dotson added 15 and 12, respectively, for Kennedy (5-3).
Darnell Hampton led Dorsey (2-2) with 13 points and teammates Kareem Sconiers and Tony Madison added 12 points each.
