49ers Favored by 6 in Super Bowl

LAS VEGAS, Nev. —
The San Francisco 49ers were made 6-point favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl following their championship game victories Sunday.
The 49ers beat Chicago, 28-3, in the National Football Conference championship game. Cincinnati defeated Buffalo, 21-10, for the American Football Conference title.
The Super Bowl will be played Jan. 22 in Miami.
San Francisco defeated Cincinnati, 26-21, in the 1982 Super Bowl and holds a 5-1 edge in games with the Bengals.
