Japan’s Taisuka Kodama, winner of the 1986 Beijing Marathon with a time 24 seconds shy of the world record, and Poland’s Antoni Niemczak, who finished second in the 1986 New York Marathon but was disqualified after a banned substance was found in his system, have been added to the Los Angeles Marathon field.
