In the 4-A:

Woodbridge (21-5), the Pacific Coast League champion, will face Katella in a quarterfinal matchup on Thursday. Burroughs is 17-8.

Krouse, who broke her right wrist in mid-December and has played in only the last seven games, made the difference. She scored five of her 10 points in the fourth quarter and her three-point play with 4:48 remaining gave the Warriors a 46-38 lead.

“We expected big things from Gina entering this season,” Woodbridge Coach Eric Bangs said. “This is only her seventh game back and having her in the lineup really helps our inside game.”

Burroughs trailed, 26-19, at halftime and was able to cut the lead to one (35-34) with just under 30 seconds to play in the third quarter, but could get no closer. The Warriors made seven of nine free throws in the final quarter to hold off Burroughs.
