Louisiana State’s Dawn Sowell won both the 55-meter and 200-meter dashes at the Southeastern Conference indoor track and field championships in Baton Rouge, La.
Her time in the 55 was 6.58, which breaks the SEC record of 6.60 set by Gwen Torrence of Georgia in 1987.
LSU won both the men’s and women’s team titles.
