Venice Beats Redondo, 13-2

Venice High took advantage of strong pitching by Steve Compos and four errors by Redondo High and posted a 13-2 victory to win the Crossroads/Westside Tournament A Division at Redondo High.
Compos limited the Sea Hawks (3-2) to four hits and had 13 strikeouts.
The Gondoliers (5-0) led 6-0 when they erupted for six runs in the fifth inning, capped by Mariano Pacleb’s homer. Redondo scored its two in the fifth.
