This week’s East Valley League games between Poly High and Grant have been rescheduled because of a conflict with two memorial services scheduled for longtime Grant teacher Hal Arthur, 60, who was shot and killed outside his Sherman Oaks home Friday.

The games will be played on Wednesday at Poly and Friday at Grant. Both games start at 3 p.m.

The first day seniors can sign with colleges is April 12.

Valley-area players selected to participate include Jeff Garner of Rio Mesa, Jason Henderson of Faith Baptist, Brian Jones of Notre Dame, Nick Sanderson of Bell-Jeff, Randy Brown of Kennedy and Alvin Brown and Johnny Johnson of Granada Hills.
