Huntington Beach : Fire Destroys Mobile Home; $75,000 Loss
A mobile home and its contents were destroyed by fire Thursday causing an estimated $75,000 in damage, according to county fire controller Colleen Keith.
Firefighters were called to Driftwood Mobile Home Park, 21462 Pacific Coast Highway, at 3:52 p.m. after a neighbor reported smoke coming from the trailer, Keith said. Eleven fire companies responded to the blaze.
Randall Reed Anaple, the occupant, was not at home at the time of the fire. There were no injuries. Cause of the fire is under investigation, Keith said.
