BEST BITES : Some Tasteful Help for the Hungry

Share

You could call it “Mouths Across America.” What they actually call it is “Taste of the Nation”--a single night during which restaurateurs all over the country get together to end hunger.

Next Thursday night major chefs in major cities all over America will be cooking for a cause. This is not just another charity dinner; the chefs donate their time, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to hunger relief organizations. If you like the food at Angeli, Champagne, Citrus, City, The Grill, L’Ermitage, L’Orangerie, Ma Maison, Michael’s, 72 Market St., Tribeca, Trumps or Valentino’s (to name just a few of the participating restaurants in Los Angeles) you might want to sample it at the Rodeo Collection on Thursday night. Tickets are $75--and there is no better way to put your money where your mouth is.

Taste of the Nation, April 27, 7-10 p.m. at the Rodeo Collection, 421 N. Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills. Tickets: (213) 234-3030.
