Stanford, Hawaii Are Winners in Volleyball

Stanford defeated USC, 15-10, 15-4, 12-15, 15-9, and Hawaii got past UC Santa Barbara, 15-6, 9-15, 15-10, 15-6, Thursday night at Loyola Marymount in the semifinals of the Western Intercollegiate Volleyball Assn. qualifying tournament.

Hawaii and Stanford meet Saturday night at 7:30 at Loyola Marymount and the winner qualifies for the NCAA Tournament final four at UCLA May 5-6.
