Tony Robinson, former University of Tennessee quarterback, surrendered to police in Knoxville, Tenn., and has been jailed without bond for allegedly violating his probation.
Among the probation violations alleged against Robinson are the use of cocaine and marijuana. He also is accused of having changed his residence and job without permission, failing to make full and truthful reports about his activities, failing to follow instructions from a probation officer, failing to work in lawful employment and failing to pay monthly probation fees.
He was put on probation in 1986 after pleading no contest to felony cocaine charges. He spent 90 days in the Knox County Penal Farm on a six-year sentence.
