IN BRIEF : Texas A&M; at Top of Baseball Poll
Texas A&M;, 50-5, reclaimed the top spot in the latest weekly Collegiate Baseball-ESPN poll in taking two of three games against Arkansas, co-champion with the Aggies of the Southwest Conference.
Slipping to second place was Mississippi State, 45-10. Arizona, 38-14-1, and Arizona State, 40-14, remained in third and fourth, respectively, while Wichita State, 53-10, climbed from seventh to fifth.
Following in the rankings were Arkansas, 44-11; Miami, Fla., 38-14; Louisiana State, 44-12; Oklahoma State, 40-14, and Texas, 45-15.
Cal State Long Beach was ranked 12th, Fresno State 13th, Pepperdine 14th and Loyola Marymount 23rd.
