The Orlando Magic won the NBA expansion coin flip with the Minnesota Timberwolves today and will have the first choice in the expansion draft.
Minnesota will choose second in the expansion draft of unprotected NBA players, which takes place this Thursday if Detroit sweeps the NBA Championship on Tuesday night and next Thursday if the series goes beyond four games.
The coin toss took place at the Champions Sports Lounge in the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.
