Leslie Haynes, a former member of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, was named to lead the organization in the wake of the defections by veteran members upset that new owner Jerry Jones wanted to relax rules governing the women’s behavior.

Haynes, a member of the cheerleaders between 1982 and 1985, told reporters Jones promised that rules forbidding fraternization between players and cheerleaders will remain intact.
