Sturges to Attend Master’s for Baseball

Joe Sturges, a catcher from Thousand Oaks High who played baseball and football the past two years at Southern Utah State, signed a letter of intent this week to attend The Master’s College.

Sturges, who will enter Master’s as a junior, batted .315 with 4 home runs and 33 runs batted in last season at Southern Utah, which dropped its baseball program in June. Master’s has no football program.
