Huntington Beach : Man Is Found Dead With Head Injuries
The body of a 50-year-old man was found in the living room of his apartment Friday morning, officers said.
Huntington Beach Police Lt. Bill Mamelli said a friend of the man called paramedics after he discovered the body in the Oakwood Gardens apartment in the 6700 block of Warner Avenue.
Mamelli said the dead man, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, suffered severe head injuries and was probably killed sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.
The exact cause of death and the weapon used has not been determined, but a homicide investigation is continuing.
