Guard Kevin Johnson signed a seven-year contract with the Phoenix Suns that officials said will make him one of the National Basketball Assn.’s highest-paid guards at more than $15 million.
Johnson, 23, had two more years plus an option remaining on his former contract that paid him $532,000 last season and was to pay him $550,000 this year.
