Knee Injury Ends Williams’ Season

Ed Williams, a Kennedy High School tailback who was one of the county’s rushing leaders last year, will miss the rest of his senior season with a torn ligament in his left knee.
Williams was hurt during Kennedy’s 21-7 loss to Rancho Alamitos Friday night. He was Kennedy’s leading rusher during nonleague play with 193 yards in 39 carries. Last season he rushed for 759 yards and 16 touchdowns in 150 carries.
