Cleveland 14, Chatsworth 7--Cleveland quarterback Steve Bryant connected with running back Pat Bryant on a 30-yard touchdown pass midway through the third quarter to break a 7-7 tie at Cleveland.
With Cleveland (2-1) trailing, 7-0, and 48 seconds to play in the first half, Steve Bryant scored from one yard to tie the score at halftime. The touchdown was set up by a 53-yard kickoff return to the Chatsworth 27-yard line by Pat Bryant. The Bryants are unrelated.
Chatsworth (1-1-1) got its only score on a three-yard touchdown run by running back Kenya Smith.
