* Mark Kortenhoeven of Valley Christian High School rushed for 202 yards and scored a touchdown as the Crusaders defeated Santa Margarita, 38-6.

* Poly tailback Andre Green rushed for 182 yards and scored a touchdown as the Jackrabbits defeated Wilson, 32-0.

* Garnett Overby of St. Anthony High threw for one touchdown and ran for three more as he led the Saints to a 50-0 romp over Pius X.

* Bruce Walker rushed for 215 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the Dominguez High Dons over Verbum Dei, 15-12.

* Formerly undefeated Paramount High had five turnovers while losing its first game of the year to Lynwood, 27-12.

* Downey High was held to 23 yards of total offense in a 40-3 loss to cross-town rival Warren. The Downey Vikings have not scored a touchdown in their first two league games.

* Wilson High has scored only two touchdowns in six games this year. The Bruins have been outscored, 123-14.

* La Mirada High’s defense allowed 447 yards, 204 rushing and 243 passing, in a 22-14 loss to Glenn High of Norwalk.
