Notre Dame 31, St. Francis 14--Setefano Malieitulua’s 66-yard run on the opening play of the second half broke a 14-14 tie and lifted the Knights (7-1) at home. Malieitulua ran for 131 yards in eight carries.

Notre Dame running back Errol Small ran for two touchdowns and threw a 48-yard pass to John Sandoval for a third score.
