Riverside Still Unbeaten After 34-24 Victory

Daryl McChristian carried 19 times for 264 yards to lead undefeated Riverside to a 34-24 victory over Saddleback at Saddleback.
Riverside improved to 7-0 overall, 6-0 in the Mission Conference and 2-0 in the Central Division.
Riverside led, 14-3, at halftime, but Saddleback (1-6, 1-5, 0-2) went ahead 17-14 on touchdown passes of 19 and 10 yards from Jeff Bailey to Mike Cook.
Riverside regained the lead when Randy Payne scored from one yard out after a 63-yard, nine-play drive with 2:34 left in the third quarter.
