In somewhat of an upset, Hancock College tied Moorpark, 1-1, in men’s soccer Tuesday at Moorpark.

Moorpark’s Romey Thornton broke a scoreless tie six minutes into the second half of the Western State Conference match, but Hancock retaliated and the game ended after two overtime periods.

“We were extremely flat and Hancock came in very high,” said Coach Frank Parodi of Moorpark (5-0-1 in conference play). Fifth-place Hancock is 1-4-1.
